Scholars Discuss Ayatollah Khamenei’s Viewpoint on Contemplating Quran
The sessions were part of an international congress on the on Ayatollah Khamenei’s Quranic thoughts that started in the holy city of Wednesday and will conclude today.
Dubbed “Quranic activities in Ayatollah Khamenei’s thoughts,” and “Quranic thoughts of Ayatollah Khamenei in works of non-Iranian Islamic seminarians”, the forums were held at Sheikh Tabarsi Hall of Astan Quds Razavi’s Research Foundation.
A number of Iranian and foreign scholars and researchers presented their papers at the two sessions.
One of the papers, written by Mojtaba Norouzi and Seyed Ali Mousavi Emadi, featured an analysis of the indexes of implementing Quranic activities from the viewpoint of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
Mousavi Emadi, who presented the paper, said given that the political, cultural and social system of the society is based on the Quran, the most fundamental measures should be taken in the field of Quranic activities.
He said the indexes of implementing Quranic activities from the viewpoint of Ayatollah Khamenei include Quranic lifestyle, developing new Islamic civilization, promoting the society’s acquaintance with the Holy Book, and promoting reflection on the Quran.
Hojat-ol-Islam Roshanzamir, a professor at the Razavi University of Islamic Sciences, presented a paper on the concept of knowledge in the Quran and the statement on the “Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution”.
Another paper was by Mohammad Askari Mumtaz from Pakistan and was presented in Urdu.
He said that using the Quranic foundations of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s thoughts, the paper seeks to answer some doubts and questions raised by orientalists and some others in India and Pakistan.
Also, Abubakr Karambe, a student of Al-Mustafa International University from Mali, presented a paper on the issue of security in the Quranic thoughts of Ayatollah Khamenei.

The international congress opened in Mashhad, northeast Iran, Wenesday to discuss Ayatollah Khamenei’s approach to Quran interpretation.
Five expert forums are organized during the two-day event.
Also, a number of scholarly works are planned to be unveiled at the congress.
